2,984 flood victims still at relief centres in 6 states

An estimated 2,984 flood victims across six states continue to seek refuge at 28 relief centers. As per the department's InfoBencana website flooding victims from Selangor has risen to 163 families in the morning, up from 126 families the night before. Three relief centres are in operation, at SK Sungai Sireh, SMK Jeram and SJKC Yuk Chih Batang Berjuntai.

In Perak the state of Perak, there are the 235 flood victims who are housed in six relief centres across the state. Two additional centres opening within Perak Tengah due to floods caused by the overflow of water coming from Sungai Perak. The two relief centres are at Surau Nurul Jannah, Kampung Parit Enam, Layang-Layang Kiri and at SK Simpang Tiga, Parit.
