A film crew comprising 30 members who were trapped in Gua Tempurung for about two hours because of flooding, have been freed. An official from the Fire and Rescue Department said that the group was stuck in the cave because heavy rain caused the cave's main entrance to be closed.
We received a alarm at 4.04pm regarding the incident. Firemen were dispatched into the cave to carry out an emergency search and rescue mission. The 30 victims were all safe and soundly rescued from the cave around 5.45pm According to the source, noting that there were there were no fatalities were reported.
