Crutchlow: Topping Malaysia MotoGP FP2 “a reward” for RNF’s “difficult year”

The Malaysian-owned team morphed out of the now defunct Petronas Sepang Racing Team for 2022. It continued to operate as Yamaha's satellite organization along with Darryn Binder and Andrea Dovizioso.

However, Dovizioso decided to step down following his participation in the San Marino GP as he was unable to adjust to the Yamaha but Binder will switch towards Moto2 in 2023, as RNF has switched to Aprilia machines.

Three-time MotoGP race champion Crutchlow was brought in from Aragon in the following season to replace Dovizioso. He has earned points in the last three of four grand prix,report by casino roulette.

The fitting of slicks near the conclusion of a dry-to-dry FP2 in Sepang at the end of Friday's afternoon. So I took this chance to put on the slicks at the end of the race and push some however it was five seconds behind the time we should have been doing. But I felt fine in all respects, not any different to anything else. I would have done this in the course of a test, not even during a session.

The team was obviously satisfied, and the sponsors were as well as the team itself is Malaysian. This is a great thing. It provides a some recompense for a tough year. Crutchlow is currently outside the Q2 spots as he completed Friday's sole dry run in FP1 18th and admitted that trying to escape Q1 should it rain on Saturday is a struggle.

It's just a pity it didn't get me through to Q2, since when it rains during the night , which appears to be the case and it will be another tough Q1 since it looks like it's likely to rain by afternoon, and it's hard to be qualified in that kind of situation, Crutchlow added. When you're able to qualify during the rain, it can be difficult especially in the Q1 when you're trying to pass through Q2.
