Melaka Disneyland is fake news, Disney reps tell CNN

According to recent reports, Malaysia is set to receive Asean initially Disneyland in Melaka We've been in touch with Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) to get clarification. Before we hear back from Disney CNN Digital, CNN Digital's Asia writer Heather Chen has managed to contact their representatives who have disproved the report. They informed Chen they believe "it's fake news and is purely speculation".

In the end, she had to delete her original tweet at the instructions of Disney. But, she stated that her original statement and the report remain in place.
