In the lead up to this year's general elections (GE15) cracks are popping up in Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) because of the escalating conflict over the party's president.

June 9 2022 - Zuraida officially is a part of PBM and is dubbed "president designate".
1 Oct 2022 - PBM information chief Zakaria Abdel Hamid was reported to have announced Zuraida's official status as party president. She claimed that she been unanimously endorsed at the inaugural general assembly.
October 2, 2022 - Sng claims he's still PBM president, however he insists there was never a dispute between his and Zuraida. Sng said he was surprised by the announcement of Zakaria.
October 8, 2022 - PBM secretary-general Nor Hizwan Ahmad announces that Zuraida has succeeded Sng as the party's president. The secretary-general said that the PBM Supreme Council unanimously approved Zuraida's appointment one day earlier.
October 26, 2022 Sng insists that he's the PBM president and will sign his watikah (appointment letter to candidates) during the general election of 15th (GE15).
