Wong Tack, who was earlier today removed as an DAP candidate in the forthcoming polls, will replace Bentong for the first time as an independent.
In the announcement, Wong Tack said that the DAP had informed him DAP that he wouldn't be part of its "grand policy" to win the general election 15th (GE15) following his being dismissed by the party favor of former Ketari assemblyman Young Syefura Olthman.
But Wong Tack said he was still dedicated to serving the citizens of Bentong in Bentong, describing the district to be his "hometown".
