Wong Tack, who was earlier today removed as an DAP candidate in the forthcoming polls, will replace Bentong for the first time as an independent.
In the announcement, Wong Tack said that the DAP had informed him DAP that he wouldn't be part of its "grand policy" to win the general election 15th (GE15) following his being dismissed by the party favor of former Ketari assemblyman Young Syefura Olthman.
But Wong Tack said he was still dedicated to serving the citizens of Bentong in Bentong, describing the district to be his "hometown". He also stated the Himpunan Hijau, an environmental NGO that he chairs did not want to be playing games with the political system. The people aren't playing pawns in the Chess game.
He also spoke about an agreement in 2013 DAP signed with Himpunan Hijau in promoting the environmental cause in Malaysia including the closing to the Lynas plant. Wong Tack has been a prominent opponent on the plant known as rare earth, jfdbet best online casino malaysia slots esports stated.

Today today, the DAP has decided to close this agreement. I would like to stress that people are able to choose their own ways and their understanding. The decision is entirely ours. I, Wong Tack, will be running in the 15th general election in Bentong under the People's ticket.
In a press conference held today, DAP secretary-general Loke Siew Fook stated that the party had a conversation to Wong Tack about fielding him as a candidate in other areas of GE15 particularly at Cameron Highlands, but the Tack was apparently not happy. Wong Tack won the parliamentary seat at GE14 after he defeated the then MCA President Liow Tiong Lai by more than 2500 votes.
